Status: working for CH4 emissions
Structure (pre-processing mode):
- Read requested source field from input file
- Find corresponding 'original' and other information (e.g., dimensions) from database
- Read 'original' into structure
- Apply dimension conversion (standard output dimensions 1 deg x 1 deg x 60 layers)
- Apply unit conversions (standard output units: kg fmm/cl/yr)
- Write emission field plus attributes to standard HDF file
Structure (in TM):
- Read requested emission field from input file
- Read corresponding standard HDF file
- Convert to actual dimensions of model run (e.g., 3 deg x 2 deg x 25 layers)
- Convert to actual units of model run (e.g., kg fmm/cl/dt)
Needed:
- inclusion of other sources
- extension to auxiliary and boundary-condition fields, such as land fraction, ozone, seawater DMS.
- implementation in TM5
Beta version of TIPP emissions has been implemented in
the high resolution version cy3/proj/hir/ .
