The 'save*.hdf' files are not useful as a restart file. In theory they contain all fields, but only in real(4) while the model is usually run in real(8).
A new restart option has been included in 'cy3' using NetCDF files. Using these files it is possible to let a restarted run be bitwise the same as a longer, not restarted run.
