The Schnalstal blues

Chorus:

Schnalstal man, Schnalstal man
Better give him breakfast just as soon as you can
Schnalstal girl, Schnalstal girl
Give me some more ice cream with a chocolate whirl

Well I woke up this morning, I got food on my mind
I can smell the aroma of bacon rind
Muesli and yoghurt, and fruit salad too
And wash it all down with a Tyrolean stew

[Chorus]

Thinking of breakfast, thinking of lunch
Thinking of what I can get to munch
Pasta and salad and plenty of wine
What's for dinner, I don't mind

[Chorus]

The sun is hot in the afternoon
Coffee and croissants can't come too soon
Then time for a nap and a dream about heaven
That's dinner of course, at half past seven

[Chorus]

Exercise is a necessary ill
But at least after that I can eat my fill
Soup and a barbecue's just about right
Espresso and grappa far into the night

[Chorus and repeat]
