Our research focuses on various aspects of atmospheric dynamics. A variety of approaches and tools are used, ranging from relatively simple conceptual models of interacting components of the climate system, via sophisticated evaluation of state-of-the-art climate models to developments of new modules or projections of these models. A major portion of the work can be separated into two main themes: (a) climate at the land surface, and (b) the interaction between dynamics, radiation and the energy transformations that are associated with the hydrological cycle. See -Research- for a complete overview of the ongoing projects and tools.
