GATE Vision Meeting

On Monday May 30, 2011, GATE has organized a meeting on future game research:

Our goal is to produce a vision on the opportunities and challenges for game research in the Netherlands. At the meeting presented initial thoughts, and the discussions, will provide additional ideas. These will be input to a broad vision report that will present aspects such as:

  • what is the state of the art in the theme
  • what is the impact of results of the past five years on applications
  • what will this impact be during the coming five years
  • what are the big challenges for the coming ten years
  • what is the impact of solutions to these challenges
  • what other factors will play an important role in creating this impact
  • who are the main players in this field in the Netherlands and abroad
